Downtown Concrete Pour

Streetscape - Los Angeles

Challenge: Replace failed sidewalk and street panels in an active downtown corridor without shutting down the block.
Scope: Saw-cut and demo of existing panels, sub-grade correction, high-PSI concrete pour with ADA-compliant transitions.
Outcome: New panels formed and screeded to grade, opened to foot traffic within the cure window.

Challenge: Owner needed a long-life slab finish that would survive heavy foot traffic and weather cycling.
Scope: Reinforced slab placement, hand-raking, bull-float finish, and properly cut control joints.

Challenge: Active distribution facility needed a full-width concrete roadway poured around live truck traffic.
Scope: Sequenced dump-truck discharge, crew screeding to grade, and bull-float finish in a single coordinated pass.
Outcome: Heavy-duty roadway delivered without disrupting daily logistics operations.

Distribution Center - Los Angeles

Challenge: New asphalt needed alongside a working loading dock - no margin for shutting down operations.
Scope: Hot-mix laid by paver, hand-raked at the curb line, compacted to spec around active dock activity.
Outcome: Clean tie-in to existing surfaces with zero downtime for the tenant.

Site Grading & Sub-base Prep

New Development - Los Angeles

Challenge: New development pad with uneven grade and a drainage path that would have undermined any paving above.
Scope: Skid steer and excavator cutting and shaping sub-grade, base rock placement, and full compaction.
Outcome: Engineered base ready for paving - the work that decides whether the surface above lasts a decade or three.

Challenge: Existing slab needed to come out cleanly ahead of a new commercial pad, on a tight build-out schedule.
Scope: Hydraulic breaker on a skid steer for controlled demo, debris haul-off, and site cleanup.
Outcome: Site cleared and ready for new pour without damaging adjacent structures.

Challenge: Retail plaza needed a fresh overlay in front of an active storefront without losing parking access for shoppers.
Scope: Phased overlay using paver, skid steer, and twin-drum roller working a clean perimeter around the storefront.

Challenge: Arterial roadway with surface failures needed a full overlay under live traffic conditions.
Scope: Paver laying the mat, skid steer handling edge work, tandem roller behind for full-depth compaction.

Asphalt Driveway Replacement

Residence - Los Angeles

Challenge: Aging driveway with cracking, settling, and water running back toward the garage.
Scope: Full tear-out, regrade for positive drainage, fresh hot-mix asphalt, and even-finish compaction.
Outcome: Clean new driveway with water draining away from the house instead of toward it.

Challenge: Homeowner wanted a long-life driveway that wouldn't ravel at the edges within a few seasons.
Scope: Paver-laid hot-mix, drum-roller compaction, hand-finished edges and apron.

Challenge: Full repave from garage apron to street - on a residential lot with limited equipment access.
Scope: Skid steer feeding mix, crew hand-raking joints, ride-on roller locking in final compaction.
